Blak Jak's Jasmine Baywind CD Jasmine was our first Belgian. It's because of her we stayed with this breed. She was so incredibility loving and devoted to her family. After the birth of our son she put herself between him and the other dogs for weeks. Jasmine was also a dream to train. She finished her CD with 2 first places and a third place. She did very well considering what a novice I was! Jasmine started working in Therapy with me as a young puppy. She loved the patients and they loved her. Jasmine was not your typical Belgian in that she was very calm. She was happiest being a lap dog and it didn't matter who's lap it was. On November 13, 1998, our husky mix, Macy, put a hole in our fence and Jasmine followed her out. Macy was found at the county dog shelter, but we never saw Jasmine again. We spent weeks searching, putting up flyers, calling all area shelters and following up every lead. We had many wonderful friends who helped us and I still thank them for their efforts. We still miss her, and will never forget her.
